By accessing or using Muftibot ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Muftibot is an AI-powered Islamic knowledge tool that provides answers based on Hanafi jurisprudence. The Service is intended for educational and informational purposes only. Responses generated by the AI should not be treated as formal religious rulings (fatwas). Users are encouraged to consult qualified scholars for matters requiring authoritative religious guidance.

3. User Accounts

You may use the Service as a guest or create an account for additional features such as conversation history. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

4. Community Conduct & Respectful Interaction

Muftibot provides community features including discussion threads, comments, and reactions. When participating in these features, you agree to the following:

• Be respectful. All replies, comments, and interactions in threads must be courteous, constructive, and respectful of others. Hostile, abusive, inflammatory, or demeaning language is strictly prohibited.
• No harassment or personal attacks. Do not target, harass, threaten, or insult other users. Disagreements should be expressed politely and with the intent to learn or clarify.
• No hate speech or discrimination. Content that promotes hatred, violence, or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, or any other characteristic is not permitted.
• No spam or self-promotion. Do not post irrelevant, repetitive, or promotional content in discussion threads.
• Respect the subject matter. This platform is dedicated to Islamic knowledge. Please keep discussions relevant and treat religious topics with the dignity they deserve.

Violation of these conduct guidelines may result in content removal, temporary suspension, or permanent termination of your account at our sole discretion.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or interfere with the Service's infrastructure.
• Submit content that is obscene, defamatory, or infringes on the rights of others.
• Misrepresent AI-generated responses as formal scholarly opinions or fatwas.
• Use automated scripts or bots to access the Service without prior authorization.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and technology comprising the Service are the property of Muftibot and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the questions you submit but grant us a non-exclusive license to process and store them for the purpose of providing the Service.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated content. The Service is not a substitute for professional religious scholarship.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Muftibot and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including any reliance on AI-generated content.

9. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
